He is survived by: his daughter Marie Gutmann of Novi; his grandchildren, Ryan Dawkins and Kaitlin Dawkins; his mother Mary Ann Kochan of Westland; his brother Walter "Buzz" Kochan (Michelle) of Livonia; his sister-in-law Mary Allen (Gregory) of Brighton; and his spouse Diane Makowski.
