He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Scully August; his children, Melissa Palazzolo of Byron, Penny Barnett (Jerry) of Maryland and Joseph McKay (Mary) of North Carolina; and his sisters, Hilda Mosher of Linden and Norajane Dart (Kenny) of Grand Blanc.
