He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Steibel and Marie Steibel; and his wife Laura Hammond. He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Denise Gates), Kenneth (Linda) and Brian (Nora). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church.
