He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Harris and Charles Harris; and his sisters, Irene and Donna. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his daughters, Diane Basom (Bruce), Cheryl Harris-Dowling and Lynda Ritchie (Mark); his grandchildren, Daniel Basom (Jane), Christopher Basom, Ben Arthur (Susie), Sam Arthur (Beth), Thomas Arthur, Michael Stuart (Ryan), Leah Vernacchia (Andy), Katelynn Ritchie and Maggie Ritchie; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Drake, Kyle, Megan, Phoebe, Jed, Alex, Josie, Niles, Roger, Zack and Autumn; and his sister Susan Hummel.
