It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anna Dorothy Wright in Linden, Michigan, born in Romulus, Michigan, who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Neumann and Emma Neumann (Sylvester); her former husband Steve Gapsky; her husband Charles J. Wright; her son-in-law Bob Thompson; and her siblings, Marie Gapsky, Clara Neumann, Frank and Leonard Neumann.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Thompson, Elayne Ellis (Mark) and Larry K. Wright (Carol); and her grandchildren, James Thompson (Holly), Gary Thompson, Wendy Bailey (Todd), Christina Sperle (Jay), Jennifer Waugh (Jason), Katie Chapman (Matt) and Jessica Miller (Mike). She is also survived by great grandchildren upon his birth; two step-great granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
Contributions in her memory may be made to either the Food Pantry at Emmanuel Lutheran Church or the Dementia Society of America.
