He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gonyea and Esther Gonyea (Stevens); his siblings, Joseph Gonyea, George Gonyea, Ruth Walker, Catherine Perkins, Eva Teeple and Janet Preston; and his daughters-in-law, Betsy Gonyea and Tamarah Gonyea.
He is survived by: his children, Debi Stephens (Mark), Steve Gonyea, Curt Gonyea (Kay), Marcy Moster (Vince), Brian Gonyea (Julie), Gerald Gonyea and Jacqueline Guitar (Sean); his sister-in-law Zella Gonyea; his grandchildren, Andrew Thomas (Holly), Bethany Duperreault (David), Katy Sobek (Matt), Chris, Matt Gonyea, Heather Parish (Howard), Craig Surbrook (Buey), Kevin Surbrook, Keegan, Oliver, Lara Moster, Jessica Hansen (Chris), Kyle Gonyea, Stephenye Boyat, Aurelie, Annalise and Addison Guitar; his great grandchildren, Kendyl, AJ Thomas, Zach Duperreault, Sam, Charlie, Amelia, Dan Sobek, Henrik, Hadley Parish, Redding Surbrook, Caleb, Hayley Klein, Abigail, Emily Hansen, Darren and Adelle Boyat; and his close friend Ruth Timm. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
