He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Brown and Pauline Brown; his grandparents, Sarah Rivera, Rufus Fleming (Victoria) and Charles Dixon (Cora); his sister Marjorie Butler; his aunts and uncles, Florence Scates, Mamie Tucker, Geraldine Hines, Nathaniel Fleming (Clara), Charles Fleming and Ezekiel Fleming (Emma); his brother-in-law Mose Tucker Jr.; and his cousins, Alfonso Fleming, Ezekiel Fleming Jr., Eugene Fleming, Sherry, Linda Tucker and Terry McGruder.

Morris, MI, Rodney Boyd Jr. of Columbus, OH, Lindsey Fondren of Oak Park, MI, K'Breon Hammond of Mt. Morris, MI, Shon Pantoja of Mt. Morris, MI and Ja'Mari Pantoja of Mt.
