We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Rachel Garrod of Lawrence, Michigan, born in Dewitt, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Lietzke and Gertrude Lietzke; and her siblings, Harold, LaVerne and Alvin.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Arthur Garrod; her children, John Garrod (Lissa) of Galesburg, MI, Kathy West (Mark) of Carol Stream, IL, Jim Garrod (Brenda) of Sheridan, IN and Paul Garrod (Cyndee) of Paw Paw, MI; her siblings-in-law, Fred Garrod (Pat) and Elizabeth Lietzke; and her great grandchildren, Sadie, Charlotte Arnold, Duncan, Lincoln Kelley, Carson, Adrian Reed, Amelia Aubin and Cooper Harvey. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Rachel asked that memorial contributions be directed to the Lawrence United Methodist Church or the Bronson School of Nursing Scholarship Fund. The family asks that memorial contributions be made in lieu of flowers.
