He is survived by: his wife Frances; his son Lathen Cannon (Justina); his grandchildren, Mary Sloan (Jason) and Jordan Renier (Ansley); his great grandchildren, Izek Renier, Ava Hickman and Oliva Sloan; and his nieces and nephews, Eric Banks (Pam), Andrew Banks, Trish Banks and Abbie Mae Banks.
