He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ledsinger; his parents, Gid and Flossie Ledsinger, Sr.; and his siblings, Robert Ledsinger, Melba Webb, Shirley Ingram, Clara Carter, Jean Hirsch and Gid Ledsinger, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Ledsinger and Bridget Ledsinger; his grandchildren, Novian Carr and Alexis Sanderlin; and his sisters, Barbara Young (Edward), Genevieve Smith and Faye Ali (Andre). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
