It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Richmond (Lawrence, Michigan), born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on July 28, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Richmond Sr. and Aris Richmond (Seelye); and his sisters, Esther Kilgore and Ann Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Richmond (Porter); his children, Hanna Sharpe, Chancey Richmond (Jessica) and George Richmond (Jenn); his grandchildren, Porter Sharpe, Emma Sharpe, Jackson Richmond, Austin Richmond, Elliana Richmond, Quinn Richmond, Luke Richmond, Nolan Richmond, Clare Richmond, Josh Gabrielse (Laura), Jessica Wilder (Nate), Will Sharpe and Jake Sharpe; and his brother-in-law John Kilgore.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or the West Michigan Cancer Center.
