It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Knapp Jr. of Lapeer, Michigan, born in Bay City, Michigan, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Knapp (Van Tol) and Walter H. Knapp, Sr.; and his sisters, Marilyn Knapp and Carol Martin. He is survived by: his wife Diane Knapp; his children, Kurt Knapp (Nikki), Kim Knapp (Kevin), Lynette Knapp, Missy Maddox (Brad), Annie Knapp and Bonnie McDaniel (Scott); his stepchildren, Korina Laymon (Nick), Chuck Burley, Todd DeMeyers, Daniel DeMeyers (Angie) and Kevin DeMeyers (Nikki); and his sister Paulette Rabidoux. He is also survived by many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
