He was predeceased by: his mother Verna Church (Estep). He is survived by: his wife Judy Church of Lapeer; his children, Michael Church (Cheryl) of Tucson, AZ, Pamela Denise of Warren, Kim Harkness (Jim) of Laingsburg, MI, Krista Hansen (Dave) of Hermitage, TN and Katina Pollet (Darrin) of Tecumseh, MI; his grandchildren, Ryan (Michele), Ashley (Justin), Brandon (Hannah), Daniel, Kendall, Katelyn, Evan, Tyler Haley (Danielle), Amanda, John Jr., Steven and Bradley; and his siblings, Loretta Johnson of Grundy, VA and Hassel Church (Janice) of Port Orange, FL.. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project or Mission 22.
