She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Kirkland and Norma Kirkland; and her siblings, Susan McConnell and David Kirkland. She is survived by: her daughters, Rachel McClain (Bryon) and Sara LaPrise (Brandon); her former husband Walter Parke; her grandsons, Michael LaPrise, William "Cap" LaPrise and Collin McClain; and her nieces and nephews, Brenda Kirkland, Amy Kehr (Bryan), Shawn Kirkland (Terri) and Chad McConnell.
