He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Derringer and Anna Jovanovic. He is survived by: his wife Debra Derringer; his sons, Jeffrey Derringer (Tracy) and Danny Derringer; his grandchildren, Julia, Dylan, Payton and Lyla; and his daughter-in-law Karrie Glandorff.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Paradise Animal Rescue.
