It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jean Powell of Lapeer, Michigan, who passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis McDonald and Ginevra McDonald; and her daughter Plynette Powell. She is survived by: her son Dennis Powell (Cheryl); and her grandchildren, Dennis II, Eric Emert (Traci), Jody Emert (Angela), Nola Wood, Velvet Angle-Detloff (Nathan) and Amy Cox (Tom). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
