He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Maynard and Viola Russell (Tank); and his siblings, Sanford and Carolynn. He is survived by: his wife Linda Russell; and his sons, Berton Russell Jr. (Jessica) and Randy Russell (Cheryl). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
