He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Getzmeyer (Dunham) and Archie Getzmeyer; his sister Alice Getzmeyer; his nephew Arnie Getzmeyer; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Beachnau.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Beachnau; his children, Robert and Megan LeBlanc (Josiah); his siblings, Nancy Balch, Mary Getzmeyer and Ted Getzmeyer (Beverly); and his grandchildren, Tamara Richardson, Claire, Leonidas and Dante LeBlanc.
