Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Theda Patricia Assiff- MacGriff (Lansing, Michigan), who passed away at the age of 97, on July 10, 2023. She was predeceased by: her husband Detroit; and her siblings, Rita Assiff, John and Robert Assiff. She is survived by: her children, Scott MacGriff (Michelle) and Patrice; her grandchildren, Christopher (Devin), Spencer (Emily), Chelsea MacGriff, Parker and Kaleel Van Voorhees; her great grandchildren, Blase, Somerset, Thomas and Theodore MacGriff; her nephew John Alan Assiff (Anne); and her great-nieces, Amanda Haskell and Jennifer Lindsay Perkes (Brett).
The family requests that for those wishing to honor her and instead of flowers, donations be made to the Theda Assiff-MacGriff Endowed Scholarship for Excellence in Dance, which will be administered by the non-profit arts organization, Lansing Matinee Musicale.
