Sharon Beers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Beers of Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on March 4, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Kastner and Rose Kastner (Schirado); her former husband Gordon Beers; her granddaughter Josephine Sims; and her brother Gerald Kastner.
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Lawrence, John Beers (Susan), Mark Beers (Dottie), Theresa Sims and Nancy Ortiz; her grandchildren, Joshua Lawrence, Tara Beers, Aaron Beers, Ethan Sims (Hannah), Amelia Kontham (C. K.), Thomas Sims (Alicia) and Maura Sims; her great grandchildren, Frank, Joseph, Vera, Kellie, Michael, Allison, Charlie, Abigail and Josephine Dara; her close friend LuAnn Babcock; and her sister Margean Tamashiro (Roy).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in loving memory of Sharon Beers to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Michael Catholic Church for Mass Intentions.
