He is survived by: his daughter Allison Renee Near; his siblings, Gary Near, Gail Vannoller (Robert), Emilie Dasch and Lucille Schneider (Murray); and his nieces, Jennifer Shepherd (Colin), Kriste Warren, Tracy Wolfe (Jeff) and Larkyn Dasch.
