It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Fisher Townsend Jr. in Lansing, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Lilly; his wife Veronica Anne Setlak; and his parents, Patricia Scherer (Shmidt) and George Fisher Townsend Sr.. He is survived by: his girlfriend Kelly; his children, April, Lillian Townsend and Quintin George Townsend; and his siblings, William Townsend (Kathleen), Kenneth Townsend, Pamela Petrie (Jerry), Debra Herbert and Gerald Scherer (Kris). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
