He was predeceased by: his father Gonzalo Zavala; and his sister Alice Cuellar. He is survived by: his wife Rosalyn Zavala; his children, Felicia Zavala, Amanda Zavala and Felipe Zavala Jr.; his grandsons, Michael Morris, Nicholas Morris and Dominic Morris; and his sisters, Rosie Zavala, Debbie Trujillo (Rodney) and Margaret Zavalla. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
