It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric D. Briggs of Lansing, Michigan, born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Julious Briggs and Clara Mae Briggs; and his sister Sophia Cole. He is survived by: his parents, Katenna Briggs of Lansing and Charles Barrett of Portsmouth, VA; his children, Breana Harden (Jamal Harden) of Lansing, Jaylen Briggs of Lansing and Eric Briggs Jr. of Port Huron; his siblings, Derrick Briggs and Kristina Briggs of Lansing; and his grandchildren, Myah, Baylee, Zaelyn, Jurnee and Amari. He is also survived by other grandson on the way; and a host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
