He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Emily. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Bob Chapman (Nancy) and Judy Peterson (Rick); his grandchildren, Nathan Chapman (Anna), Katie Cowsert (Rian), Curt Peterson (Alyson), Danny Peterson (Mary) and Ryan Peterson (Hannah); and his great grandchildren, Amelia, Jonah, Mason, Scarlett, Hudson, Adelyn, Titus, Maria, Roman, Logan and Theodore.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in David's name to South Church, Lansing Christian School or Youth for Christ.
