It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Kalawert of Lansing, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Garry Talley; her stepfather Urilla; her sisters-in-law, Peggy Talley and Heather Petrosky; and her parents-in-law, Willard, Helen Kalawert Jr. and Maggie.

She is survived by: her husband Willard "Bill" Kalawert III; her children, Lindsey Green (Dominic) and Josh Kalawert (Lauren); her grandchildren, Ciera Green, Cydney Green, Arriana Green, Mackenzie Kalawert and Connor Kalawert; her great grandchild Ailani Horne; her brother Garry Talley; her stepsiblings, Ronnie Petrosky, Tony Petrosky (Michelle), Kris Petrosky, Amanda Petrosky, Tina Cloud (Gary) and Bernie Petrosky (Robin); her siblings-in-law, Kathy Lewis (Mark) and Pete Kalawert (Marsha); and her close friends, Margaret, Bunnie, Cindy, Roberta and Cheryl. She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
