It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann Burns-Austin (Lansing, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on July 17, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Burns; her parents, James Hunter and Sophia Hunter (Dombrowski); and her siblings, James Hunter and Catherine Hall (William).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Pumpkin and Easter Egg; her daughters, Leisa Harding (John) of Longboat Key, FL and Laura Grabowski (Frank) of Glen Ellyn, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Brandon, Kamryn, Kayla Harding, Emily, Maia and Julia Grabowski; her brother Andrew Hunter (Monica); and her sister-in-law Barbara Hunter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the City Rescue Mission in memory of Carol.
