He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Stephens; his sons, Nathanael Mark Stephens and David James Stephens; his siblings, Daniel N. Stephens (Deborah), Robert S. Stephens (Elaine) and Carla S. Compton; and his grandchildren, Caleb H. Stephens and Charity K. Stephens.
