He was predeceased by: his mother Mary-Ellen Pohl; and his wife Sheila Pohl (Thompson). He is survived by: his father Elvan Pohl; his children, Kevin Pohl (Lauren) and Emily Cordes (Jonathan); and his mother-in-law Gloria Thompson. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, seven siblings.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Gerard's Youth Ministry or the Westphalia Historical Society.
