She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Austin and Maxine Austin (Fredell); her daughter Shari Smith; and her sisters, Joanne Austin and Kay Kramer.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Smith of Entrican; her children, Sheila Smith (Harold Haight) of Greenville, Carl R. Smith (Teresa) of Greenville and Curtis Smith (Tracy) of Ravenna; and her sisters, Patricia Miller of Grand Rapids and Charlene Ruther of Flint. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
