Janice Phelps Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Phelps (Lakeview, Michigan), who passed away on April 6, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Hoisington and Wilma Hoisington; and her brother Don Hoisington. She is survived by: her husband Keith Phelps; her children, Tamela Sweeris (Bob) of Stanton and Kevin Phelps (Julie) of Six Lakes; her grandchildren, Faylyn Emma of Gainesville, Makayla Brown (Nathaniel) of Ionia, Mitchel Sweeris of Sidney and Ben Phelps of Six Lakes; her great grandchild Levi Brown; her mother-in-law Flora Phelps of Stanton; and her sister Janet Minikey (Tom) of Sheridan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Masks and social distancing will be required.
In lieu of flowers, anyone can make contributions to the Phelps-Hoisington Scholarship Fund for Vestaburg students, Hospice of Michigan (Big Rapids) or the Lakeview Baptist Church, envelopes will be available.
