He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sarah Shaw and Herman Shaw; his wife Gloria Vera Estevez Shaw of Ometepec, Mexico.; his daughter Betsy Ross (John George) of Lansing; his grandchildren, Rebecca Waligorski (Russ), Matthew Ross (Shea), Sarah Sluiter (Tim), Abrahm Newell, Elizabeth Wilkerson (Mark), Isaac Newell (Michelle) and Jacob Newell; his great grandchildren, Ariel, Abigail, Nathan, Emily Newell, Ashley Marshall, Henry and Albert Wilkerson; his daughter Gloria Guilfoyle (Alan) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Bradley Guilfoyle, Lauren Gibbs (Josh) and Abigayle Guilfoyle; his great grandchildren, Graham Gibbs, Molly, Jackson Garner and Winnie Gibbs; his son Jim Shaw (Tammi) of Lakeview; his grandchildren, Jim Shaw (Katie), Katie Pabich (Justin) and Stephanie Shaw; and his great-grandparent Nellie Pabich. He was also cherished by his four children, thirteen grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
