She was predeceased by: her husband Henry LaHousse Jr.; her parents, Donald Nicholls and Gladys Nicholls; her stepmother Margaret Nicholls; and her siblings, James D. Nicholls and Dorthy During.
She is survived by: her children, Lauren Berger (Dennis), Richard LaHousse and Janet Simon (Scott Bell); her grandchildren, Megan Berger-Cromwell (Richard), Sheila Faye Casteñada (Daniel), Carrie Berger (Nathan Geisler), Adrienne Olmstead (Justin), Michelle Simon, Kenneth Simon Jr. (Cynthia) and Richard LaHousse Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Maia Cromwell, Rylee Cromwell, Linden Berger-Geisler, Blake, Brody Olmstead, Daniel Casteñada and Camila Casteñada.
Memorial donations may be made in her honor to the Native American Heritage Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
