He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wilson and Edna Wilson (Strohl); and his brother George R. Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Donna Wilson of Lake Bluff; his sons, Timothy Wilson (Catherine) of Escanaba, James Wilson (Sandra) of Lake Bluff and Brian Wilson (Sophia) of Marquette; his grandchildren, Sarah Pearson (Terry), Alexander Romero-Wilson (Sabrina), Thomas Wilson (Kasie Pleiness), Leia Wilson, Audrey Wilson and George Wilson; his great grandchildren, Joel Pearson, Owen Pearson and Grace Pearson; his sister-in-law Carol Wilson; and his nephews, George Wilson and Robert Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be sent to the Alzheimer's Association or the Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Wisconsin.
