Johnston (Ormiston); her grandchildren, Robert Bruton (Debbie) of Lake Somerset and Barbara Whitcomb (Howard) of Oak Harbor; her great grandchildren, Erin Tomb (Jason), Bradley Elston (Courtney), Elizabeth Bruton, John Stanton (Mona), Rachel Koval (Kristopher), Bryan Thomas (Jessica) and Nick Thomas (Merideth); her stepsons, Michael Montague of St. Louis, Dan Montague of Black River and Jim Montague (Linda); her former husbands, Howard Whaley and Jim Montague; and her daughter Donita Tripp. She was also cherished by nephews, nieces and cousins.
