He is survived by: his parents, Stanley R. Shaner and Kathleen E. Shaner (Neubecker); his daughter Hannah Mae Shaner; and his siblings, Janel Shaner (Berly) and Jeremy Shaner (Kelly). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews & friends.

“Hey uncle Bri guy! It’s been a long time without u now. It’s been hard for me on thanksgiving. I finally went hunting with ur brother/jeremy/my dad. He’s taught me a lot this year! He’s a really good dad but I think he got it all from you. I changed a lot ever since u left. It’s been really hard for me everyday because u were my favorite uncle and you taught me a lot in life before u passed. I just wanted to thank you for everything u did for me. We still u and love u uncle Bri guy.”
