He was predeceased by: his father Richard F. Ricklefs; his grandson Leo Ricklefs; his sister Desiree Belzer (Jim); and his stepmother Arlene Ricklefs. He is survived by: his mother JoAnn Goddard-Plett (Paul) of Muscatine; his wife Linda McCabe of Lake Orion, Michigan; his children, Henry Ricklefs (Jace) of Muscatine, Rachele Ricklefs of Lake Orion and Danielle Ricklefs of Lake Orion; his siblings, Susan Sutera (Daniel) of Muscatine, William Ricklefs (Kochell) of Dunkerton, Wesley Plett (Sharon) of Letts and Darwin Plett (Vickie) of Muscatine; and his stepsister Vickie Craig (Mike) of Peoria, Illinois.. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Rodney.
