She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil H. Day; and her siblings, Pauline Jones, Inez Bateman, Ruth Day, Eugene and Newell Owenby.
She is survived by: her children, Joan McMahan (Keith) of Hayesville and Roger Day (Rachel) of Metamora, Michigan; her sister Wanda Ballew of Murphy; and her grandchildren, Jon Apker, Jeremy Day, Courtney English, Preston and Eric McDowell. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
