He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille (Lucy); his son Timothy Burt; his stepson David Chick; his siblings, William Burt (late Olga), Raymond Burt (late Joyce), Henry Burt (late Patricia), Norma Dalby (late Willliam) and Elizabeth Corson (late Robert); and his half-brothers, Don and Jack.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Burt (Cathy) and Matthew Burt (Lori); his stepchildren, Wendy Caraway (Dan), Vicki Gorsline (Doug), Lori Pauley (Bradford) and Michael Chick (Wendy); and his daughter-in-law Sharlene Chick. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 late grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
