He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxell Bennett and Carlotta Bennett; his former wife Wilma Bennett; his sisters, Linda Ritter and Nina Liknes; and his grandson Tarin Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Julie Zink, John Bennett and Barb Bennett; his siblings, Val Bennett (Rosie), Joanne Schrenk (Tom), Nancy McBrian and Max Bennett (Sandy); and his brother-in-law Lee Ritter. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
