He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Howard Barnes and Mary Jean French; his stepfather William French; his sisters, Sherri Piercefield and Debra Freitel; his brother-in-law Benham; and his niece Amy Cruz.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Barnes (Debra) of Bellevue, MI, Vicki Benham-Lackey (Jeff), Dawn Pifer (Steve) and Beverly Erb; his stepmother Marie Barnes; his half-sister Dawnette Michaels (Dale); his children, Brittany Barnes, Brandy Cade (Chris Helton) and Joshua Newcombe; his brothers-in-law, Ron Piercefield and Erhard Freitel; and his aunts, Joyce Waite and Irene Haskins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
