Leo R. LeRoy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leo R. LeRoy of Kingsford, Michigan, born in Niagara, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 12, 2022 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo LeRoy and Mary LeRoy (DuFresne); his wife Eileen Gothe; his son Gary "Bucky" LeRoy; his daughter-in-law Linda LeRoy; and his sister Vivian Gregory.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Sgrecci (David) of Iron Mountain, Leo R. LeRoy, Jr. of Saginaw, MI, Suzanne Matiash (Peter) of Waunakee, WI and Gloria Fugere (Robert) of Menominee; his daughter-in-law Reylene LeRoy of Spooner, WI; his sister-in-law Geraldine Weber of Aurora, WI; and his grandchildren, David Sgrecci (Jackie), Carol Havens (Steven), Angela Anderson (Darren), Joseph Sgrecci (Molly), Anthony Sgrecci (Jesse), Michael LeRoy, Aaron LeRoy, Sara Klecan (Heather), Tracy Ocel (Scott), Nicholas Matiash (Jodi), Michael Matiash (Angela), Leo LeRoy III (Kathrine), Michele Geyer (Paul), Karl Fugere (Donna Yost) and Jessica Fugere-Beaman. He is also survived by 35 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his memory.
