It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lafreniere of Kingsford, Michigan, born in Norway, Michigan, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl LaFreniere and Ethel LaFreniere (Edgren); and his siblings, William "Bill" LaFreniere, Richard, James LaFreniere and Lois Benzie (LaFreniere).
He is survived by: his close friend Leota Wender (Dodi); and his sister Carol Brown (LaFreniere). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
