He is survived by: his wife Marsha Carlyon; his children, Bradley Nurmela (Whitney) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Brenda Husing (Jacob) of Eagle River, WI; his grandchildren, Amelia Husing, James Donald Husing (JD), Alexis Husing, Audrey Husing and Charlotte Nurmela; his siblings, Dave Nurmela (Betsy), Catherine Nurmela (Sandra), Steven Nurmela (Deanna) and Jim Nurmela (Beverly); and also, Den Carlyon (Peggy), Bruce Carlyon (Martha), Larry Carlyon and Dean Carlyon (Carol). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
