He was predeceased by: his mother Rosemary Rumsey; and his siblings, Rose Hayes, Bernard and Michael Rumsey. He is survived by: his wife Traci; his children, Richard Rumsey of Bradenton, Florida, Amy Lynn Hess (Matthew Smith) of Atlanta and Renee Hess (Tiffany) of Tipp City, Ohio; his grandchildren, Briana Rumsey, Morgan Hardin, Bayleigh McCarthy, Dorian Smith and Justin Smith; and his siblings, Shirley Shelton (Travis) of Georgia, Mary Selph of Georgia, Penny Lewis of Georgia, Pam Miller (Mike) of Georgia, Susan Knowles of Georgia and James "Billy" Rumsey of Georgia. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
