He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervie Stoops and Rose Stoops; his pet Lola (late Roseanne); and his siblings, Shirley, Lawrence, Gordon, Vernon, William, Sharon and Irma.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Stoops; his siblings, Muriel, Stanley and Clark; his children, Michael Stoops (Cindy), Dan Stoops (Amanda) and Tanya Stoops (Chris); his stepdaughters, Sherry Smith (Chris) and Heather Fitzgerald (Rob); and his grandchildren, Kaylee, Brandy, Maranda, Maddie, Alyssa, Austin, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Trevor, Charlie, Cassie, Bryleigh and Caelan. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
