She was predeceased by: her stepfather Earl Martines; her brother Mike; and her son Kenneth. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Derk; her daughter Anissa; her sons-in-law, Jeff, James, Robert and Sonny (Ashley); her stepdaughters, Saunya and Sissy; her mother Elizabeth Martines; and her siblings, Melinda and John. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren.
