She was predeceased by: her former husband Louis W. Fowler; her husband Dennis H Markey; her son Jim Fowler; and her brothers, Robert Evans and Dale Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Michael, Mary Anne Ettawageshik and Wendy Fowler (Michael Oxley) of Traverse City; her grandchildren, Marissa Soule (Chris) of Tennessee and Joseph Ettawageshik (Amy) of Traverse City; her great grandchild Frank Ettawageshik (Rochelle); her close friends, Agnes Wheeler and Kathy Seekins; and her pet Peitra. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
