It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Georgine Helen Astbury (Kalkaska, Michigan), who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Guttowsky and Isabel Guttowsky (Harris); her siblings, Jo Ann, William, LeRoy, Ira and Melvin; and her husband Clifford Astbury.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Kyes and Lori Lightfoot (Mark); her grandchildren, Rachel Ayres (John), Jason Lightfoot and Kevin Lightfoot (Charity); and her great grandchildren, Taylor Alsup (Brooke), Andrew Lightfoot, Brooke, Kelly Ayres, Alexa Lammers, Shannon and Dakota Lightfoot. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be directed to Hospice of Michigan, Traverse City.
