He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cotton and Phebe Cotton (Dunlap). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jane Barr; his sons, Bruce (Kim) and Douglas Cotton (Nina); his grandchildren, Olivia, Lane and Jonathan; and his siblings, Margaret Ritenburgh, Beth Priest (Myron), Jane Werner and Glenn Cotton (Norma).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Don's honor to Kalkaska Church of the Nazarene or Evergreen Bible Baptist Church.
